Crime Rates

Some interesting crime research areas, amenable to secondary analysis of survey data,
include:
• Gender differences in the experience of crimes
• Public Perceptions of Crime Rates
• Gender, age and class differences in the fear of crime
• The impact of fear of crime on behaviour
• Regional differences in victimisation

I have to decide which one will i use to finish both my assignments for data analysis. Any preferences anyone out there reading this?

Ethics Dillema

Because I have no one to think of who would listen and fully comprehend my dilemma. I decided to take it to cyber world.

The problem starts when the deadline dwells over my head and makes me not think of anything but the days are passing and nothing is being done about it.

Ethics taking a relationship approach ; one by one things need to look clearer. First the methodology needs to be somewhat clear, so if we decided that everything that is going to be documented is documented in Video format, then all issues are clear from an ethical perspective.

I feel its taking a twirl into my head; spinning into black and white, and NOT STOPPING.

STOP.

ok back to ethics, all i need is to say it. I am worried my research will negatively affect people in misunderstanding what the purpose is.

If the purpose was clear, no one would misunderstand it, would they??

Issue number one: I need a filing system . Files with read , and files with unread material, both with the same dividers so I can keep track of my reading. and that definately is not an ethical issue. its a random issue.

another random issue is i need highlighters, proper ones and not 6 for one pound ones.

Back to ethics. Ethical issues in research ? Will I contact people at any stage? Which stage?
Incentives? No incentives?

Consent form? Written? partial ? full ? reasonable?
confidentiality? annonymity?
no harm ?!
beneficence??!?
