Your friends – For being your companions in life

Grateful for friends ... people who understand you without judgement, people who do not expect anything in return... people who are there for you to vent out...

Grateful for the Tuesday friends ... Grateful for whatsapp friends ... grateful for best of bestest friends who listen to you when you are down

“Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . ."”
C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

Pleasures of gratitude,

Today I am grateful for family My family – For being my closest kin in the world. Family who have put up with different life decisions that changed the dynamics of our 'home' ...

I am grateful for all the time, travel and laughter.

I am grateful for knowing in times of difficulty they are there to rely on....

I am grateful for knowing my family would support me in my crazy life endeavours.. and know that no matter what, they will always be there.

Its been a year since I said that I wanted to publish my daily gratitude, and I think the time has come... I'll take up a challenge of posting everyday for the next four weeks of September...

My Go-To website when I want to feel lighter is http://www.becomingminimalist.com/

Welcome September, the month of gratitude <3

Today I am grateful for

5 things I am grateful for today

1.  Spontaneous Friends
2.  Family
3.  Green Juice < how i dont need to worry about it
4.  Voicenotes
5. My Mom

My family – For being my closest kin in the world

I am grateful for my family, for all the times they stood by me for me to fulfill my educational dream. For the ease of using my sisters car, and for the touch of a button phone-call-away brother who would come to me anywhere to finish our work.

I am grateful for my mom, for taking up more than expected and for being my best of friends all throughout the years.

I am grateful for my family, for the sense of security and the sense of belonging.

I am grateful for all the discussions and endless debates that have made me a sharper person, a more confident speaker, and a logical thinker.

When things dont work according to plan.

Looking at the macro picture, counting the years while trying to deviate from a certain aspect in life, not knowing that you are carving your way into the exact same place.

Phd Cycles

The funny thing about a PhD is that it lives with you,

I say this although I taught for two years and you would think all the marking and the teaching and the students would take up more than the working hours assigned.

But the PhD lives with you as in the guilt trips taken every time the TV is turned on, and the number of times to re-think a family outing on the weekend instead of working through the weekend because Wednesday was wasted or Friday afternoons weren't productive enough.

A new theory I came up with is that i have noticed there are days in the week were productivity is much higher than other days, and also there are months in the year where you produce three times the number of (tasks/chapters/scripts) as others.

November is one of them <3 another one is April... I wonder why

I need to change the rhythm and make sure this summer is the most productive time of my LIFE :) whats scheduled for this summer is my phase two of my data collection and that needs time to prepare for >>> interview performas and questionnaires need to be validated, access needs to be secured.

What every leader needs to know about followers

Its been more than a year, and O boy the changes that have happened....

lets just dive back into academia and hope for the best.

Methodology is what the current priority is...

The onion research figure is here, http://wps.pearsoned.co.uk/ema_uk_he_saunders_resmethbus_5/111/28551/7309154.cw/-/7309188/index.html

so the current book that I am reading is suggesting the flow of the methodology to be in a certain direction *(http://www.pearsoned.co.uk/HigherEducation/titlesby/Saundersetal/)*

I am yet to write down an outline to follow, as this type of chapters need a structure to start with and not see how the flow goes on.

DE-Blocking method required.
