Phd Cycles

The funny thing about a PhD is that it lives with you,

I say this although I taught for two years and you would think all the marking and the teaching and the students would take up more than the working hours assigned.

But the PhD lives with you as in the guilt trips taken every time the TV is turned on, and the number of times to re-think a family outing on the weekend instead of working through the weekend because Wednesday was wasted or Friday afternoons weren't productive enough.

A new theory I came up with is that i have noticed there are days in the week were productivity is much higher than other days, and also there are months in the year where you produce three times the number of (tasks/chapters/scripts) as others.

November is one of them <3 another one is April... I wonder why

I need to change the rhythm and make sure this summer is the most productive time of my LIFE :) whats scheduled for this summer is my phase two of my data collection and that needs time to prepare for >>> interview performas and questionnaires need to be validated, access needs to be secured.
